@JackDiggs - Blue Rain (Album Review) @RevorgRecords

After a brief conversation with outspoken, UK personality Big Toast, we were lucky enough to receive an early copy of the forthcoming "Blue Rain" album by Revorg Records artist Jack Diggs.

Now im not going to bullshit you all (like other blogs would) and tell you that ive been supporting Jack Diggs from day one and bump all of his shit because that would be a steaming pile of lies. This is one of the first times ive heard of Jack Diggs (Minus a few tracks here and there) and if anything im glad that this album is my introduction to him as an artist.

From muddy bass and laid back percussions of the opening beat, Jack Diggs flows confidently and precisely over the gritty productions but unlike most artists does not substitute content for his flow. In fact i can honestly say after bumping this album that Diggs is probably up there with some of my personal favourite underground uk hip hop artists.

"Glass Home" is probably one of my highlights as the beat drops in to a hazed, relaxed kick and Jack Diggs invites you into the mind of a modern day purist of the uk sound. If your after polished, happy music with a positive effect on your day then your looking in the wrong place. If you are however looking for some fucked up, spazzed out vibes to repair the broken threads of brain membranes after a heavy weekend of smoking, drinking and god knows what else then this is your soundtrack.

Grow a pair, grab a drink and make sure you purchase this ballsy, corrosive music on the 5th of November and play it loud and obnoxiously until your neighbours OD on smack.
