Little over a decade ago, childhood friends Dwaine Kelly (Tez kidd) and Marcus Daley (Seven),
two highly respected individuals in the Sheffield hip hop scene came together.
TezKidd, a rapper of great talent and Seven, a Sheffield based producer, created a body of work entitled 'Dirty Work' the EP.
It consisted of 5 songs varying in different styles of hip hop (Seven would produce all the tracks
and Tez Kidd would write and perform). This was the beginning of both their
careers and since it's launch both have gone on to break ground in every aspect of music,
both becoming prolific figures in the northern hip hop music scene.
After a decade of following different paths, their journeys have brought them back together
and this time they have brought you the official follow up to that debut release over a decade ago.
Consisting of 12 tracks, DRTYWRK2 brings Seven’s exceptional production,
all-star features together with Tez Kidd’s killer flow it is everything that an EP release should be.
Released on 27th October 2014 on all digital platforms.
