What Really Went Down At @LordOfTheMics 6 Live?

So as most of you already know, today marked a key point in the history of grime music as clashing platform Lord Of The Mics took it's sixth installment to higher levels by having 3 live clashes in front of a live crowd in the countries capital city.

The venue was absolutely fam packed with fans, artists, producers and DJs to witness what is set to be one of the most talk about events in the history of grime. On the day the three clashes were Manchesters Dorris up against Invasion Alert veteran Hazman, Don't Flop affiliate Dialect going head to head with Opium and the headlining clash which unless you live under a rock you should already know was Bloodline artist Big H Vs the bar machine that is P Money

These clashes will be available on the DVD alongside the other clashes which include Jayeye Vs Local and Ak vs Villain. The world of twitter is blowing up with talk of what went down today so I thought I'd let you guys in in what I know about the days events.

Dorris Vs Hazman

Dorris clashing Hazman was always going to be a good clash. I have respect for both artists and have also worked with both on projects and mixtapes so to hear them clashing filled me with excitement. From the information I gathered from Invasion Alert founder Vader, the clash was pretty evenly matched with both artists going full throttle. The general online opinion seems to be that Hazman came out victorious after switching it up a gear in the last round with bars addressing the fact that Dorris paid Jaykae for a feature without getting the feature.

Dialect Vs Opium

This clash seems to be the one with the best feedback from what I can see on my timeline right now. Both artists tore into each other, with Dialect being skilled in the art of battle rap from all his involvement in Don't Flop and Opium being a beast on mic for years now. No one seems to have a good idea of the people's winner from this clash, I've seen just as many people claiming Opium won as I have saying Dialect won so I guess we're going to have to wait for the DVD to make a verdict on this one

Big H Vs P Money

Now for most of you this clash was possibly the biggest clash to ever take to The Lord Of The Mics cameras and after the clash the timeline was absolutely popping off about what went down. There's been so much controversy surrounding this battle, from Big H not turning up at the original contract signing (to later turn up at a second one where a large cash sum graced his palm) to the whole saga with him being filmed driving in his "French Whip".

There's been a lot of bad blood and social media exchanges between the pair but no one could've expected what would go down at the clash. Rumour has it that Big H came severely unprepared for the clash with hardly any bars unlike P Money who had material for days and was shelling from the get go. Big H started the first round in classic Bloodline form with sick bars and the bravado to match, P Money lyrically hung him out to dry and this was visible by the way Big H wouldn't spit back to back with P Money in the usual clash format. The crowd gave good reaction to the banter that Big H brought to the clash but this is a shame as everyone wanted a pure lyrical battle.

It's also rumoured that during the clash Big H asked Logan Sama to wheel him to which Logan refused which only makes things worse for Big H in respect of looking like a legitimate clash performer. This among the rest of the circus antics surrounding this clash resulted in Big H demanding more money for further bars and eventually walking off the stage.

It sounds like the clash if the year turned out to be nothing more than an unfortunetly pairing but were all going to have to wait for the DVD to land to find out!
